Paultons Park is set to unveil a brand-new themed area, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, on May 16, just in time for the half-term break. This new addition will feature three Viking-themed rides, including Drakon, the park’s first rollercoaster with an invigorating vertical lift, Vild Swing for a soaring experience, and Raven, a reimagined bobsled ride now matching the Viking theme. Visitors can also enjoy a Viking-themed playground and dining hall for an immersive adventure.
Meanwhile, Chessington will introduce the World of PAW Patrol in spring 2026, offering four exciting rides like Chase’s Mountain Mission and Skye’s Helicopter Heroes. Additionally, guests can look forward to Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, a unique ‘drifter’ ride, and interactive play zones for kids. The park will also provide PAW Patrol-themed accommodation for families at Chessington’s Azteca hotel.
Alton Towers will debut Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies! on March 28, featuring the world’s first Bluey roller coaster designed for young fans of the popular show. The park will also expand its CBeebies Land hotel with more Bluey-themed rooms for a complete immersive experience.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy the Toxicator at Alton Towers, a high-speed coaster that promises an exhilarating ride experience. Blackpool Pleasure Beach will introduce Aviktas, a new gyro swing ride, in spring 2026, offering a thrilling experience at a height of 138ft. Additionally, the park will celebrate its 130-year anniversary with special ticket offers for visitors.
Crealy will unveil two new rides in 2026, including Pirates’ Plummet and Rotor, promising exciting adventures for guests. Pleasurewood Hills in Suffolk is also set for a revamp with plans for four new rides, including Star Flyer and Spinning Coaster, pending planning approval.
