An unidentified EuroMillions winner is being urged to step forward within the next few weeks to claim a £112,000 prize before the deadline passes. The winning EuroMillions ticket was purchased in Powys, Wales on December 12 of last year, but as of now, no one has come forward to claim it, and the cutoff date for claiming the prize is June 10.
The National Lottery is making a public appeal to anyone who was in the Powys area around the time of the draw to search their belongings for the winning ticket, which matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star. The winning numbers were 7, 25, 30, 37, and 41, with Lucky Star numbers 5 and 11.
Andy Carter, a senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, emphasized the importance of checking for the ticket, stating that prizes have been claimed at the last minute in the past. If the prize remains unclaimed by the deadline, the money, along with accumulated interest, will be allocated to National Lottery-supported projects across the UK.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to come forward and claim their prizes. For assistance or if individuals believe they hold a winning ticket within the 180-day timeframe, they can contact the National Lottery Line at 0333 234 5050.
Recently, two UK ticket-holders each won over £41 million in the EuroMillions draw on April 21. The winning numbers were 13, 16, 29, 40, and 47, with Lucky Star numbers 3 and 4. Two tickets purchased in the UK and one in France matched all seven numbers, sharing the jackpot and winning £41,844,862.30 each.
Andy Carter celebrated the winners, highlighting the success of UK players in recent draws and encouraging others to check their tickets and come forward if they believe they are winners.
