Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels are in for a treat. Starting next month, they will receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost. This addition means households can enjoy popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus without any increase in their bills.
The update will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers beginning April 1. To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Additionally, the content will be accessible on-demand and through the Virgin TV Go app.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed excitement about the new offering, emphasizing the company’s commitment to providing great entertainment value. He highlighted the captivating drama and compelling stories featured on Sky Atlantic, promising over a million Virgin TV customers a seamless viewing experience with no additional costs.
Meanwhile, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described the update as the beginning of a “new era” for Sky and NOW. The consolidation of Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription offers customers a comprehensive entertainment experience.
