A woman who was widowed in a war was recently found guilty of perpetrating a shocking alcohol-fueled assault on her wealthy husband, a property developer. The husband, Adam Plumb, initially believed he had met his ideal match when he connected with Christina Schmid, a well-known advocate for war pension rights. However, he soon discovered that he was ensnared in a nightmarish cycle of abuse that led to his financial ruin and eviction from their £1.5M home.
Schmid was convicted of physically assaulting Adam in December, with the judge condemning her as the primary aggressor and orchestrator of a relentless smear campaign against him. Adam has since made public distressing images and videos of the abuse, violence, and manipulation that characterized their tumultuous marriage.
Despite being recognized for her advocacy work on behalf of war widows, Schmid’s reputation suffered a blow when she received a suspended 12-week sentence for assaulting Adam. Following the court case, Adam, who is in the process of divorcing Schmid, revealed his intention to expose her true nature through the released footage, stating that she had deceived not only him but also the public.
