This innovative procedure allows passengers to drop off their luggage at London Luton Airport the evening before their flight, easing the pre-travel process. This service, named twilight check-in, operates from 9pm to 2am every day, catering to travelers scheduled to depart on flights up to 9am the following day.
This move comes as airports brace for increased activity during the February half-term, with families planning sunny vacations and others seeking respite from the cold British weather. Wizz Air joins EasyJet and Jet2 in offering twilight check-in services at Luton Airport. The timing is ideal as Luton Airport anticipates handling a staggering 325,000 passengers during the week, with popular destinations including Amsterdam, Bologna, Paris, Berlin, Budapest, Lisbon, Prague, and Seville.
For those craving a warm escape, top destinations from Luton Airport include Palma de Mallorca, Murcia, Malaga, Lanzarote, Madeira, Antalya, and Dalaman. In response to the high demand, Wizz Air will introduce new routes from Luton to Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia, and Seville starting March 29. Jet2 is also set to launch five new routes to Corfu, Kos, Preveza, Skiathos, and Menorca from May 21.
