A 35-year-old woman has been taken into custody under suspicion of child neglect following the tragic death of a 14-week-old baby girl on Saturday in North Reddish, Stockport, Greater Manchester. The infant was rushed to the hospital but sadly did not survive.

According to a spokesperson for GMP, emergency services responded to a welfare concern call in North Reddish at 10:51 am on Saturday, where despite efforts, the baby passed away at the hospital. The investigation is still in its early stages, and a scene will be preserved as inquiries continue.
