“World’s Tallest Roller Coaster Unveiled in Saudi Arabia”

Date:

The recently unveiled Falcons Flight roller coaster at the Six Flags resort in Qiddiya City has set new records as the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster. Standing at a towering height of 195m, it surpasses iconic landmarks like Big Ben in London. The resort, a part of the extensive Qiddiya City development in Saudi Arabia’s Riddiyah province, is expected to attract millions of visitors annually.

In addition to Falcons Flight, Qiddiya City boasts a range of attractions, including a custom Formula One track, a Dragon Ball theme park, and a water park. Six Flags, known for its theme parks across America, was the first major attraction to launch in the city, with Falcons Flight stealing the spotlight during its soft opening last week.

Manufacturers Intamin began construction in April 2023, completing the roller coaster’s final component in December 2024. Theme park enthusiast Shawn Sanbrooke, from the popular Themepark Worldwide YouTube channel, described his experience on Falcons Flight as “incredible” and “phenomenal.” He praised the ride for its thrilling elements and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Apart from Falcons Flight, the Six Flags park features other record-breaking attractions like the Sirocco Tower, Gyrospin, Iron Rattler, and Spitfire roller coasters, each claiming titles for their height and unique features. Shawn, a former theme park employee, expressed his emotional reaction to the park’s grand opening, labeling it a surreal and unforgettable experience.
