Police are seeking assistance in locating a pair of missing Louis Vuitton trainers valued at £1,000 in connection with the suspected kidnapping and murder of a 21-year-old man. The victim, Jack Sullivan from Waltham Abbey, Essex, was reportedly abducted on June 22 and later found severely injured in a Cheshunt car park, where he succumbed to his injuries on June 26.
Investigators are focusing on the blue Louis Vuitton trainers as part of their murder inquiry. Additionally, authorities have shared an image of a black Mitsubishi Outlander believed to have been used in the kidnapping, which has been recovered. Three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood, leading the investigation, disclosed that the Mitsubishi Outlander, bearing the false registration plate HY16 FZR, was stolen on June 3 and abandoned in Waltham Cross on June 23. Authorities are urging anyone with information on the vehicle’s movements or the missing trainers to come forward.
Wood emphasized the importance of finding answers for Jack’s family and urged the public to share any relevant information. Essex Police’s public portal is available for individuals to provide tips regarding the case.
