A 15-year-old adolescent is facing charges for sexual offenses involving eight girls, with one victim being only 10 years old. The case was presented at Wellingborough Youth Court, where it was disclosed that the accused boy is charged with multiple counts of rape and sexual assault against victims aged between 10 and 15 at the time of the alleged incidents.
Due to legal constraints related to his age, the teenager’s identity remains undisclosed. The charges brought against him include 22 offenses that allegedly occurred between 2023 and 2025. During the court hearing lasting 20 minutes, the youth, accompanied by his mother, did not enter any pleas and sat at the back of the courtroom without being called to the dock.
Among the charges, he faces 12 counts of sexually assaulting a female, three counts of touching a girl under 13 inappropriately, and one count of raping a girl under 13. Additionally, he is accused of penetrating a female over 13, raping a girl aged 13-15, and producing indecent images of a child.
Furthermore, the boy is charged with possessing prohibited images of children and extreme pornographic content. District Judge Amar Mehta deemed the case too severe for the youth court and transferred it to Northampton Crown Court for further proceedings.
The teenager is scheduled to attend Northampton Crown Court on August 18 and has been granted conditional bail, which includes restrictions such as avoiding contact with the alleged victims, refraining from unsupervised interactions with females under 16, and cooperating with the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Service. During the hearing, the boy only provided basic personal information and inquired about the Youth Justice Service.
