Construction workers in Poland made a shocking discovery of 29 unborn fetuses buried at a family home. The bodies were found on private land while the workers were excavating a driveway, leading to the arrest of a 52-year-old woman. The suspect is facing charges of desecration of a corpse and illegal disposal of hazardous waste, potentially resulting in a prison term of two to 12 years.
Authorities also uncovered a significant amount of medical waste, including paraffin blocks and microscope slides, on the property. The current owners of the land, amidst renovation activities, notified the police about the finding. A thorough investigation is ongoing, with police continuing to search the area, expected to last for several more days.
According to reports from the local media, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Rzeszów received initial information about the discovery of medical waste, including human fetuses, on the premises. Medical experts confirmed the remains to be those of human fetuses, indicating a disturbing situation at the property.
The incident has triggered a substantial emergency response, with ongoing efforts to gather more evidence and understand the full extent of the situation.
