“Putin Ally Warns of Global Catastrophe Urgency”

Date:

One of the key proponents for Vladimir Putin has cautioned the Russian populace to prepare for a potential global catastrophe. Alexander Dugin, a 64-year-old nationalist philosopher known for shaping the Kremlin’s outlook, recently issued statements that suggest an implicit alert about the escalating risk of nuclear conflict.

In a foreboding online message, Dugin, often referred to as “Putin’s brain” or “Putin’s Rasputin,” urged all non-baptized Russians to promptly undergo baptism and encouraged those not attending church to start doing so to secure a place in paradise after death. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, warning that the opportunity for such decisions might vanish rapidly with the arrival of eternity.

While Dugin did not directly mention nuclear arms, his ominous rhetoric aligns with the way Kremlin-associated thinkers portray nuclear war as an irreversible clash with the West, leaving only faith as a surviving element. He emphasized the importance of faith in the Savior and urged immediate action without delay.

The recent statements from Dugin follow a tragic incident involving his daughter, Darya Dugina, who was killed in a car bombing near Moscow in August 2022. Russian authorities suspect that the attack targeted Dugin, with blame placed on a Ukrainian assassination team.

In a separate incident, Russian lawmaker Alexei Zhuravlev issued threats against the UK and US in response to the seizure of the Russian-linked oil tanker Marinera. Zhuravlev called for aggressive actions, including attacks on American vessels, referring to the incident as piracy. He suggested that Russia’s military doctrine allows for the use of nuclear weapons in such circumstances.

In a notable escalation, Moscow launched a nuclear-capable Oreshnik missile near Lviv, a mere 40 miles from NATO territory in Poland. The missile, traveling at an astonishing speed, was reportedly aimed at a strategic gas storage facility on the outskirts of Lviv, creating a spectacular display in the night sky.

The strike prompted speculation over Russia’s military capabilities, with discussions on the use of advanced ballistic technology. The Russian Defense Ministry later confirmed the strike, citing it as a response to an alleged Ukrainian plot to assassinate Putin. Western intelligence agencies and Ukraine have refuted claims of any such assassination attempt.

The strike drew condemnation from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha‎, who labeled it a significant threat to European security and a test for the transatlantic community. He confirmed that the ballistic missile targeted the Lviv region, raising concerns about the escalating tensions in the region.
