The mother of a young man who went missing in Thailand for nine days has sadly announced that his body has been discovered. Joshua Kershaw, a 21-year-old from Grimsby, was last spotted in Pattaya on January 12. Despite his scheduled flight from Bangkok on January 19 at 8.30 pm local time, he did not board the plane, prompting authorities to classify him as a high-risk missing individual.
In efforts to locate Joshua, his family initiated a search campaign, and a GoFundMe appeal was also launched. Regrettably, Jenny, his mother from Wakefield, shared a heartbreaking update on Facebook, confirming the tragic news. Numerous individuals responded with messages of sorrow and support for the family.
Jade Kershaw, in another update on the GoFundMe page dedicated to finding Joshua, revealed the devastating news of his discovery deceased in his hotel. The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and announced that funds raised would now be used to repatriate Joshua and arrange for his funeral back home, surrounded by his loved ones. They requested continued thoughts and prayers as they mourn this profound loss.
