The chaos ensued at Lynch Arena around 2:30 pm as gunshots rang out, prompting terrified spectators and players to take cover. Distressing videos shared online captured the harrowing moment when approximately 11 gunshots were heard, leading to a scene of panic and confusion.
Reports suggest that the father turned the gun on himself after shooting his family members, but a heroic spectator managed to disarm him. However, witnesses claimed the alleged attacker had another weapon. The police have not disclosed the victims’ relationship to the suspect.
One victim, believed to be a young girl, was found deceased at the arena alongside the shooter. Another individual passed away at the hospital, while the remaining three victims are in critical condition.
