A father tragically passed away while enjoying the snow with his children has been honored as a loving and motivational presence. Nathan Phillips from Tulsa passed away on January 24 due to sudden cardiac arrest while sledding with his kids. The news was shared by various media outlets and a GoFundMe page was set up to assist with funeral costs.
Described as an exceptional father by Chris Presley, the organizer of the GoFundMe, Phillips was known for his devotion and joy in parenting. Sharon Phillips, Nathan’s sister and a news anchor at KJRH, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support following her brother’s unexpected death during the winter storm.
According to Presley, Nathan was not only a dedicated father but also a talented musician, worship leader, and nurse educator at Saint Francis Hospital. His impact on his family, students, patients, and community was profound, and his legacy will endure through them. The fundraiser aims to cover funeral expenses and support Phillips’ family, with donations reaching nearly $30,000 by January 30.
