A family grieving the loss of a man in a tragic car accident described him as a proud new father in a heartfelt tribute. Patrick Shaughnessy, 27, was deeply cherished by his devastated loved ones following a fatal crash on the A614 in East Yorkshire.
The incident occurred when a blue Land Rover traveling northbound from Howden collided with a white Ford Transit van heading in the opposite direction in the Holme-on-Spalding-Moor area around 9:55 pm. Tragically, both occupants of the Land Rover, Patrick and a 55-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van, a 31-year-old man, sustained severe injuries deemed to be life-altering and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
