“Middle East Explosions: US & Israel Strike Iran, Retaliation Escalates”

Date:

Explosions shook various cities in the Middle East today following coordinated airstrikes by the United States and Israel on Iran. The strikes, carried out using warplanes and cruise missiles from bases in Israel and a US carrier strike group, targeted multiple locations in Iran. In response, Iran announced retaliatory strikes on American bases and interests in the region.

Reports indicate explosions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with additional missile attacks on a US naval base in Bahrain and other targets. The UK Foreign Office issued a statement advising British nationals in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE to seek shelter immediately and follow local authorities’ instructions due to the missile threat.

According to NBC News, Iran is retaliating against several US military facilities in the Middle East. The UAE defense ministry confirmed the death of a civilian in a missile attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles. The victim, of Asian nationality, was killed as missile debris fell in a residential area.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a counterattack in response to the US and Israeli strikes. President Donald Trump referred to the operation against Iran as “Operation Epic Fury,” vowing to eliminate Iranian forces. He labeled Iran as the top state sponsor of terrorism and emphasized preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Trump highlighted ongoing US military efforts to thwart Iran’s nuclear ambitions and ensure national security interests. He pledged to dismantle Iran’s navy, destroy its missile program, and prevent the country from obtaining nuclear weapons.
