Police have made a fourth arrest in connection with the investigation into the murder of a woman over two decades ago. Lisa Dorrian disappeared from a party at Ballyhalbert Caravan Park in Northern Ireland, and her body has never been found despite extensive searches and efforts by her family.
Authorities believe the 25-year-old was killed on the night of February 27, 2005, or the following early morning. On March 5, a 48-year-old man was arrested in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, and preventing a lawful burial, as reported by Belfast Live.
This recent arrest marks the fourth one made by the police in connection to the case. A 40-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were previously arrested on February 25 for similar charges and were later released on bail for further investigation. Additionally, a 40-year-old man was arrested on March 4 for assisting offenders and withholding information and was also released on bail.
