Notably absent from recent visits are Prince Harry and Meghan, who have not set foot on the Aberdeenshire property since stepping back from their royal duties over six years ago amid strained relations with the royal family.
In a recent development hinting at a possible reconciliation, the King reunited with his grandchildren during a visit by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to his country residence at Highgrove. This marked the first in-person meeting between Charles and his grandchildren in four years, signaling a potential thaw in the relationship between the King and his youngest son.
Despite these positive signs, royal expert Jennie Bond remains cautious about the prospect of Harry, Meghan, and their children visiting Balmoral for a family reunion.
