“Former Civil Servant Accused of Drugging 248 Women in Fake Job Interviews”

Date:

A man is facing allegations of misusing his authority to drug over 200 women in a disturbing ‘test’. Christian Nègre, a former civil servant, is accused of giving women powerful diuretics during fake job interviews, causing them to involuntarily urinate while he observed. Authorities claim he took pleasure in embarrassing victims by offering them coffee or tea laced with illegal substances and apparently documenting the incidents in a disturbing manner.

Nègre, now in his 60s, is accused of drugging a total of 248 women between 2009 and 2018 during fake recruitment meetings. In 2019, following his dismissal from the French ministry and civil service, he was formally investigated for various charges including drugging and sexual assault, as per court records reviewed by the Mirror. While awaiting trial, he has been working in the private sector.

The victims have been waiting for justice for years, with concerns that the prolonged process is adding to their trauma. Experts have drawn parallels between this investigation and the case of Gisele Pelicot.

One victim, Marie-Hélène Brice, recounted her experience of being drugged by Nègre during a job interview at France’s culture ministry in 2018. She described feeling an urgent need to urinate and severe pain after consuming a drink offered by Nègre. Another victim, Anaïs de Vos, shared a similar experience of being led to uncomfortable situations by Nègre under the guise of job interviews.

Nègre’s alleged crimes were exposed when a colleague witnessed him taking inappropriate photos, leading to a search of his devices where incriminating evidence was found. The delay in the criminal investigation, now spanning six years, has caused frustration among the victims.

Despite acknowledging the drugging and photographing of women, Nègre has not apologized. The case sheds light on the issue of ‘chemical submission’ and the challenges faced by victims seeking justice. The slow progress of the legal system in addressing such cases has left many feeling abandoned and unsafe.

The article highlights the need for improved support and swift resolution for victims of such crimes.
