The father of a teenage girl who tragically lost her life while parasailing in Greece expressed satisfaction with the recent imprisonment of the boat operator responsible for the incident. Tony Hayes deemed the conviction of watersports boss Nikos Mallios, 57, as a positive step towards justice following the deaths of his daughter Jessica, 15, and her cousin Mikey Connelly, 13, in October 2020.
Mallios was found guilty of violating health and safety regulations that led to the fatal accident and was sentenced to four years in prison.
