“Giuffre Family Clarifies: Andrew Not a Prince Amid Misconduct Arrest”

Date:

Virginia Giuffre’s family has issued a statement clarifying that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was not a prince following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in a public office. Andrew is currently in custody after being apprehended at his residence in the Sandringham estate, Wood Farm this morning. Authorities are conducting searches at locations in Berkshire and Norfolk, as confirmed by Thames Valley Police.

Ms. Giuffre, who tragically passed away last year, had accused Andrew of sexual misconduct, alleging that he engaged in a sexual relationship with her when she was 17 years old. Andrew has consistently denied these accusations. In response to the arrest, Ms. Giuffre’s family expressed relief, emphasizing that the law applies to everyone, including royalty.

In a statement, the family conveyed their appreciation to Thames Valley Police for their investigation and arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. They emphasized that Andrew was never a prince and dedicated their actions to all survivors, stating that Virginia did this for them.

Meanwhile, the King has stated that the legal process must proceed following his brother Andrew’s arrest for suspected misconduct in public office. The Palace issued a statement expressing deep concern over the situation and affirmed their support for the investigation by the appropriate authorities.

Thames Valley Police’s Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright confirmed the initiation of an investigation into the alleged misconduct in public office, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the integrity and objectivity of the inquiry. Acknowledging the significant public interest in the case, updates will be provided when appropriate.
