A dispute between two women erupted at a funeral in Veracruz, Mexico, over the coffin of their mutual lover who had been unfaithful to them both.
The unexpected revelation that they had both been romantically involved with the deceased man led to a heated confrontation during the funeral service, shocking the gathered mourners.
One of the women was seen beside the coffin whispering a heartfelt goodbye to the deceased, expressing her sorrow at his passing. However, her emotional farewell raised suspicion in the other woman present at the funeral.
Upon being questioned about her relationship with the deceased, the tearful woman admitted her romantic involvement, triggering a dramatic confrontation between the two women near the coffin.
Both women asserted their claim as the deceased’s partner before engaging in a physical altercation next to the coffin. Video footage captured the intense moment as they grappled with each other, almost causing the coffin lid to come off before being separated by a bystander.
The video clip, which has since gone viral on Instagram, garnered over 150,000 views and numerous comments, with one observer joking, “They almost killed him again.”
