The Ministry of Defence is conducting an investigation to determine if Jeffrey Epstein utilized RAF bases for flights on his ‘Lolita Express’ jet while in the UK. This inquiry follows former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s submission of a dossier to six police forces, questioning whether Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had utilized the bases to meet Epstein.
Defence Secretary John Healey has personally mandated a review of all MoD records, prompted by recently disclosed flight logs from the Epstein Files indicating that Epstein undertook a total of 90 flights to and from British airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
A spokesperson for the MoD stated that the department is committed to uncovering and sharing any information related to Epstein’s crimes with the appropriate authorities. They assured support for any civilian police investigations, expressing sympathy for the victims of Epstein’s abhorrent actions.
Meanwhile, Essex Police have confirmed their assessment of allegations suggesting that Epstein’s victims were transported to the private terminal at London Stansted Airport. The flight logs reveal that approximately 15 flights occurred after Epstein’s conviction for child sex offenses in 2008.
The aircraft, registered as N908JE, was reportedly used to transport individuals between Epstein’s properties in New York, Palm Beach, and the US Virgin Islands, with repeated trips to the UK noted in the records, including visits to airfields near royal residences in England and Scotland.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer emphasized that flight logs from UK and RAF airports cannot be disclosed until ongoing police investigations concerning Epstein are concluded. He stressed the importance of allowing the investigation to progress before determining the necessary course of action.
Both Andrew and former US ambassador Lord Peter Mandelson were recently arrested and subsequently released on bail due to their alleged connections with Epstein.
