There are now new concerns arising about Donald Trump’s health, with scabs being the latest issue to be added to the list of worrying health indicators.
During a recent Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House, observers noted dark red discoloration on the president’s neck. He was also seen running more than 40 minutes behind schedule, displaying discolored hands while presenting awards to military service members.
The White House physician, Sean Barbabella, explained that Trump is using a common cream as a preventative skin treatment on the right side of his neck. This treatment was prescribed by the White House doctor and is expected to cause redness for a few weeks.
At the ceremony, the 79-year-old president seemed to stumble and slur his words while trying to honor the final recipient. He was heard saying, “Finally, we honor one more soldier, a fallen warrior of wars,” as he read from a teleprompter.
Questions about Trump’s health have been raised before, particularly after he appeared to have severe bruising on his hands during a televised meeting with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky. The White House has dismissed concerns about the president’s well-being, attributing the hand bruising to frequent handshaking and aspirin use, as well as a previous diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency.
Trump abruptly left the ceremony without taking questions from journalists. He diverted from the main topic to discuss a ballroom development project at the White House, expressing his enthusiasm for the design and layout changes.
Additionally, he commented on the US-Israeli military action against Iran, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The Trump administration indicated that the operation, named “Operation Epic Fury,” would continue for weeks, though Trump mentioned the US’s readiness to extend the operation duration if needed.
Despite conflicting reports, Trump emphasized the US’s preparedness to take necessary actions, stating, “We have projected four to five weeks from the beginning, but we are capable of extending beyond that if required.”
