A 35-year-old woman, Anamaria Ciolte, traveled to Turkey for dental treatment, but ended up with stumps for teeth for six months, facing challenges like difficulty eating hard food and being mistaken for an elderly person. Anamaria described the recovery as a tough journey, enduring hurtful comments from others who were unaware of her struggles behind the scenes.
The dental issues stemmed from a gap that appeared in Anamaria’s teeth at the age of 26 after a dental crown surgery went wrong due to a misaligned bite. Over the years, she felt self-conscious about her smile, avoiding showing her teeth in photos and feeling uncomfortable in social situations.
After being quoted a high price for treatment in her home country, Anamaria opted for dental procedures in Turkey, which included removing previous dental work, installing five implants, and undergoing bone crafting and correction. Despite facing challenges during the healing process, Anamaria expressed satisfaction with the final outcome of her treatment, highlighting the importance of proper oral care to maintain her new teeth for many years to come.
