Shocking new revelations have surfaced regarding the gruesome actions of singer D4vd in allegedly mutilating a 14-year-old girl using a chainsaw.
The artist, known as David Burke, is currently facing charges in court related to the murder of Celeste Rivas.
Prosecutors claim that D4vd arranged for an Uber to transport Rivas from her residence in Lake Elsinore to his residence in Hollywood Hills on the night of April 23, 2025.
Allegedly, he fatally stabbed Rivas and watched as she bled to death.
Court documents suggest that Burke ordered a shovel from Home Depot the following day through Postmates.
Subsequently, he purchased two chainsaws from Amazon about a week later, and on May 5, he reportedly procured a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags, and a blue inflatable pool.
The documents allege that Burke used a fake identity, Victoria Mendez, to make these purchases.
Investigators informed the court that he took extreme actions to dispose of the victim’s body, including placing her in the inflatable pool to contain the blood and using a chainsaw to dismember her.
Traces of plastic matching the pool bought by Burke were found in Rivas’ remains, along with the discovery that her left ring and pinky fingers, bearing his name tattoo, were amputated but not recovered.
In September 2025, evidence consistent with the victim’s dismemberment was found in the inflatable pool at Burke’s residence, leading to a search warrant being executed.
DNA matching Rivas was discovered during the investigation.
Text messages revealed a heated exchange between Burke and Rivas the night before her alleged murder, where she threatened to expose damaging information about their relationship.
The documents also detail their initial meeting when Rivas was 11 and their sexual involvement starting when she was 13 and Burke was 18.
Prior to the tragic event, Rivas was reported missing by her family in February 2024, with a phone number linked to Burke found on her device.
Despite knowing her age and status, Burke continued pursuing Rivas, even providing her with a phone through a third party to maintain contact.
During his court appearance on April 29, Burke’s attorney expressed concerns about the potential public disclosure of evidence against him.
Recent reports indicated the discovery of a significant amount of child pornography on Burke’s iPhone, leading to the collection of extensive data by investigators.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed Rivas’ death resulted from multiple penetrating injuries, with her dismembered body found in Burke’s Tesla on September 8, 2025.
Her cause of death was officially determined on December 8, 2025.
Burke faces charges of first-degree murder with special circumstances, including lying in wait, murder of a witness, murder for financial gain, lewd acts with a minor, and mutilating human remains.
Officials clarified that the murder of a witness charge stemmed from Rivas’ involvement in a previous investigation.
The financial gain aspect relates to Burke’s belief that allegations of misconduct could harm his music career.
Currently, Burke is being held in the twin towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.
