“Tragic Crash Leaves One Survivor Fighting for Life”

Date:

A 21-year-old man, Spencer Elliott-Delaney, is fighting for his life following a tragic accident that claimed the lives of three of his friends in Illingworth, Halifax. The collision involved the Ford Fiesta they were in, which collided with a BMW and a stationary Renault Clio. The deceased friends were identified as Corey Graham, Cassius Bryant, and Thomas Reilly. Police have arrested three individuals, with a Bradford man currently in custody as the investigation proceeds.

Spencer sustained severe injuries and is undergoing critical medical treatment and surgery, according to Andrew Raby, who organized a fundraising campaign to support Spencer and his family. The campaign aims to alleviate financial pressures for the family during this challenging time. The tragic incident has left Spencer facing a long and uncertain recovery journey, prompting an outpouring of support from the community.

The fundraising initiative on Just Giving has already raised over £7,000 out of an £11,000 target, with contributions from more than 230 supporters. Any surplus funds will be directed to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The West Yorkshire Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with a 26-year-old man from Bradford arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and currently in police custody.
