“Victims of British Royal Demand Interviews in Epstein Case”

Date:

Women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein are calling on UK authorities to interview the ‘second victim’ of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following confirmation that police are examining various sexual allegations. This potential move would increase the pressure on the former royal, who has been accused by two victims of the disgraced financier. The situation arises as the ex-prince was seen for the first time at Sandringham in Norfolk after being arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public earlier this year.

Virginia Giuffre, who passed away last year, accused Mountbatten-Windsor of abusing her in London, New York, and a private Caribbean island. Despite his strong denial of these allegations, she filed a civil abuse case against him in New York, which was settled with a reported out-of-court payment of £12 million. Another accuser, Johanna Sjoberg, has claimed that the former Duke of York engaged in a “sexual act” with her. Sjoberg testified that she was touched inappropriately by Mountbatten-Windsor at Epstein’s Manhattan residence in 2001, with Giuffre allegedly present during the incident.

British authorities are considering speaking directly with Sjoberg to determine her observations and any information she received from Giuffre regarding the events in London. This decision follows Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley’s recent trip to the US, where he confirmed that detectives are scrutinizing a broad range of allegations linked to Epstein and his associates.

Sources indicate that Sjoberg is now a focal point of this renewed interest following the release of nearly three million redacted US Government Epstein files. These documents have already led to the apprehension of Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

A former Epstein victim, now a mother of two, who was acquainted with Johanna, has urged Sir Mark to engage with her to gather insights into Mountbatten-Windsor and Giuffre. She commended Sir Mark for his proactive stance, emphasizing the importance of listening to victims and pursuing evidence impartially. The mother stressed the significance of holding everyone accountable and giving survivors the attention they deserve.

Sir Mark emphasized the need for access to unredacted US evidence for potential progress in the cases. The investigation also involves allegations of misconduct in public office concerning Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson, who both deny any wrongdoing. The focus remains on the sexual allegations, particularly those disclosed by Sjoberg during legal proceedings against Maxwell.

The urgency of the case has escalated following Giuffre’s death, prompting Sjoberg to speak out. Epstein’s death in jail while awaiting trial and Maxwell’s subsequent conviction for sex trafficking offenses have further heightened the gravity of the situation.
