In a separate incident in Shadwell, east London, on the same day, a man in his late 20s or early 30s was fatally wounded around 4pm on Watney Street. Another man in his fifties sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is currently receiving medical care in a hospital.
Police, along with ambulance personnel, responded to the Shadwell incident. The younger victim was initially in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries later on. Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams expressed sympathies to the victim’s family and the affected community, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
