“UK Fashion Retailer LK Bennett to Close Online Platform, Launches Huge Sale Event”

Date:

A popular UK fashion retailer, favored by Princess Kate, is set to close its online platform soon and is kicking off a significant sale event. LK Bennett, founded by Linda Bennett in London in 1990, began shutting down its physical stores earlier this year due to financial troubles that led to administration in January. The company has now announced that its website will cease operations shortly, offering discounts of up to 80% on all products, including an exclusive online sale with markdowns of up to 90% on premium dresses, shoes, and accessories.

Following the administration process, the brand was acquired by the US-based company Gordon Brothers. However, nine standalone stores and 13 concession stores across the UK were not part of the acquisition deal. In recent times, the company initiated sales with discounts of up to 75%, as reported by The Express.

LK Bennett emphasized that the stores excluded from the acquisition deal are still operating under administration, while online sales through the company’s website will continue in the foreseeable future. A company spokesperson highlighted the exceptional offers available across all categories, stating that everything, including new season pieces, has been significantly discounted. Customers were urged to shop early to avoid missing out on key styles.

Specializing in high-end women’s clothing such as dresses, knitwear, luxury footwear like boots, and handbags, LK Bennett has gained recognition as a premium brand. Notably, Kate Middleton, known for her royal engagements, is a known supporter of the brand and often showcases its pieces. The company’s website also addressed the management of its affairs by the Joint Administrators, ensuring that they will not bear any personal liability concerning the terms and conditions or other policies.
