Kate, the Princess of Wales, and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, have not been frequently seen together despite having common backgrounds. Both attended the prestigious Marlborough College and share a passion for art. Princess Eugenie is a director at Hauser & Wirth in London, while Kate holds a master’s degree in Art History from the University of St Andrews.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams noted that although they share some similarities, Kate and the York sisters, particularly Eugenie, do not have much in common. Eugenie is said to have a closer relationship with her cousin Harry.
Their differences may have originated during their time at Marlborough College, where Kate focused on her studies while Eugenie was involved in a memorable incident. In 2008, Eugenie and other students were found naked after a night of drinking, prompting staff intervention.
Despite both women pursuing successful careers and involvement in charity work, they remain in separate spheres within the Royal Family, with Kate’s path to royalty being less eventful compared to Eugenie’s past antics.
