Police authorities have released a photograph of a woman they wish to interview following a sexual assault and robbery incident involving a 70-year-old man who had his Rolex watch stolen from him in a street encounter.
The victim was accosted by the woman while walking in Aylesbury around 12:45 pm on April 8. The woman engaged him on Richmond Road, initially offering cleaning and gardening services before transitioning to suggesting “sexual services” and making inappropriate physical advances towards the elderly man. Subsequently, she forcefully took his Rolex watch from his wrist and swiftly fled the scene. The suspect is described as a white woman in her 20s or 30s, standing about 5 feet tall with long dark hair.
Thames Valley Police has issued an appeal for witnesses in connection with the incident, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. A CCTV image of the woman in question has also been made public.
According to a statement from the police force, the victim, aged in his seventies, was approached by an unidentified female offering cleaning and gardening services while walking on Richmond Road. The woman then proceeded to make lewd advances and inappropriate physical contact before snatching the victim’s Rolex watch and escaping.
The perpetrator is described as a white female in her twenties or thirties with long dark hair, wearing a black baseball cap and light-colored clothing, approximately 5 feet tall, and possibly having a Spanish accent.
Detective Constable Mandy Cutler, the investigating officer, stated, “This incident occurred in the early afternoon, and I urge anyone who witnessed it to contact Thames Valley Police. Reports can be made online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43260169849. Additionally, a digital portal is available for witnesses to upload any relevant digital evidence, such as dash-cam footage or CCTV images. Anonymous tips can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.”
