Influencer’s Mercedes Hits Security Guard: Arrest Made

Date:

A security guard sustained severe injuries when reportedly hit by an influencer driving a Mercedes, as captured in recent images. Anoosh Chaichy, 56, from Edgware in north London, was beside BBL influencer Klaudiaglam (real name Klaudia Zakrzewska) when a black vehicle struck them as Chaichy was moving his e-scooter. The security guard was left on the pavement, while Klaudia was hospitalized in critical condition after the incident outside a London nightclub on Sunday night.

X Factor contestant turned influencer Gabrielle Carrington, 29, also known as RIELLEUK online, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, and dangerous driving.

Klaudia, a Polish-born influencer with nearly 260,000 Instagram followers, was at the Inca nightclub before the collision. Carrington appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where District Judge Nina Tempia remanded her in custody. Carrington, a former member of Miss Dynamix who reached the X Factor finals in 2013, now has over 365,000 online followers.

Prosecutor Rizwan Amin detailed the allegations against Carrington, stating that police and ambulance services responded to reports of a woman being run over on Argyll Street early on April 19. The prosecution outlined the events that left Anoosh Chaichy, Ms. Zakrzewska, and Ms. Latisha Armstrong injured.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson reported that a woman in her 30s remained in critical condition, a man in his 50s suffered life-changing injuries, and a third woman in her 30s had minor injuries in the collision. Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of Specialist Crime South expressed concern for the injured individuals and urged witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.

Carrington, from Manchester, faces charges including attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, assault causing actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving. She did not enter any pleas during the court hearing.

David Malone, deputy chief crown prosecutor for the CPS in London North, emphasized that the case is active and the defendant is entitled to a fair trial, urging against any reporting or sharing of information that could prejudice the proceedings.

The investigation is ongoing, and individuals with pertinent information can submit it through the major incident portal or contact the police, referencing 3374/19APR.
