“Influencer Vanishes After Nightclub Visit”

Date:

A British travel influencer disappeared after a night out in Morocco and was last seen leaving a nightclub in Morocco known for drink spiking.

31-year-old Rachel Kerr has been missing since she left SMART Nightclub in the coastal town of Agadir around 5 am last Saturday. Her phone has been off since then, and her family has not been able to contact her.

Before she went missing, the influencer from Dunblane had checked out of the Carribbean Village hotel due to financial constraints.

In a social media post, her cousin Claire Hill expressed concern for Rachel’s safety and requested any information regarding her whereabouts or contacts in Morocco.

She mentioned that Scottish authorities have been notified, and Rachel’s relatives are on their way to Agadir to assist in the search.

A friend named Alexis Shaw revealed that Rachel had extended her stay in Agadir due to emotional distress, having run out of money and left the hotel before heading to the SMART nightclub at the Hotel Agador nearby.

Reports from a tourist familiar with the area indicated that the nightclub where Rachel was last seen has a reputation for drink spiking, raising concerns about the environment for young individuals.

Rachel, who frequently shared travel videos and organized guided tours, had also engaged in modeling projects before her disappearance.

Her social media posts reflected her passion for exploring different places and meeting new people around the world.

The last activity on her Instagram account was two weeks ago, featuring a caption “la marinaaaa.” A previous post showcased a video from Agadir, promoting a city tour scheduled for October.

A spokesperson from the Foreign Office mentioned that they are assisting the family in the search for the missing British woman in Morocco.
