Paramedics responded to an incident at a swimming pool in a leisure center in Hyde, where a child was quickly transported to the hospital. The emergency services were called to Hyde Leisure Pool on Walker Lane in Hyde, Greater Manchester, today regarding the child. Witnesses mentioned that the pool was cleared as medical professionals arrived to assist. Reports indicated that the emergency crews were summoned due to a child experiencing difficulties in the water. According to an eyewitness, ambulance personnel were seen administering CPR at the location. The child, who was conscious, underwent further evaluation at the hospital after being rescued from the water. Inquiries have been made to the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) for additional details. Active Tameside, the entity managing the leisure facility, has also been contacted for a statement.
