Armed police rushed to a residential area following a violent altercation involving two XL Bullies that resulted in a man being bitten. The attack occurred on Milton Grove in Staffordshire at approximately 6:35 pm on Thursday. Staffordshire Police intervened, tranquilizing the two aggressive dogs and relocating them to a secure police facility. Additionally, two other dogs were removed from the premises.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, with authorities responding to a 999 call to Milton Grove at the specified time. According to Stoke on Trent Live, officers were informed that two XL Bullies were engaged in a confrontation in the front yard of a residence. Subsequently, the dogs bit a man present at the scene, prompting the dispatch of armed officers.
Upon arrival, the dogs were safely sedated and transferred to a secure police kennel for evaluation. The injured man, who sustained non-serious injuries and declined medical attention, was interviewed at the scene. Two additional dogs from the property were also taken to the police kennel. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
