“Met Police Officers Investigated for Misogynistic Behavior”

Date:

The Metropolitan Police conducted an internal inquiry involving five officers from the Royalty and Specialist Protection unit following allegations of misogynistic behavior and derogatory remarks referring to “Little Hitlers.” A female staff member at Kensington Palace lodged an official complaint citing a series of “inappropriate” comments made between August 2023 and September 2024, with the formal complaint filed in October 2024, mentioning that the palace was described as being “full of little Hitlers.”

A spokesperson from the Met stated, “The reported conduct does not meet the expected high standards for officers, especially those in frontline protective roles. Following our internal investigation, the officers underwent reflective practice to evaluate their actions and extract lessons for the future.”

The statement further emphasized, “Maintaining the highest levels of professionalism among all officers and staff is a top priority for the Met to foster trust and confidence with the public.” Despite not meeting the misconduct threshold, it was reported by The Sun that senior Royal Household officials decided to revoke the officers’ access passes to royal residences, preventing their future work at any palaces.

The Mirror reached out to the Royal Household for comment.
