A 22-year-old woman, Shawgar Rasul Hama, from Blackburn, passed away at Wythenshawe Hospital in Greater Manchester on May 23 after sustaining severe burns from setting herself on fire. The young woman was quickly taken to the hospital’s specialized burns unit for treatment, as reported by Lancs Live.
