Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have introduced their newly born son, naming him Midas. The boxer and his fiancée shared the news of their second child’s arrival earlier this week but had kept the name a secret. Molly-Mae had hinted that Tommy would reveal the name on his fighting shorts during his entrance for the match against Eddie Hall in Manchester.
Keeping his word, Fury proudly displayed “Midas” on his combat gear. Earlier in the week, he teased Mirror Fighting, expressing his excitement about the reveal, stating, “All will be disclosed on Saturday night. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve received more inquiries about the name than the actual fight. It will be an entertaining night on Saturday, and everything will be unveiled. This has been an incredibly blessed week for me.”
The couple, who initially met on the ITV reality show Love Island, welcomed their first daughter, Bambi, in January 2023. They announced the pregnancy of their second child in February. On Wednesday, they joyfully shared the news of Midas’ arrival through a joint Instagram post, featuring a monochrome snapshot of the family of four gazing lovingly at the newborn.
The post quickly amassed over 1.5 million likes within two hours of being posted, with friends and followers flooding the comments section with congratulatory messages. Maura Higgins, a TV presenter and former Love Island contestant, joined in the celebration, expressing her happiness for the couple.
Hague and Fury first met in 2019 on Love Island’s fifth season, where they finished as runners-up. Despite a split in August 2024, the couple later reconciled and confirmed their reunion in May of the following year.
Since her time on Love Island, Hague has amassed an impressive following of 8.6 million on Instagram and launched her clothing brand, Maebe, in 2024. Making her first public appearance post-motherhood, Hague attended Fury’s match against Hall at The AO Arena on Saturday night.
