A tragic helicopter crash in Brazil claimed the lives of six individuals, including musician Oliver Tree, as reported by eyewitnesses. The incident occurred in Rio De Janeiro when two helicopters collided mid-air, resulting in the fatal crash.
According to the Rio de Janeiro’s Military Fire Department, one of the helicopters crashed in a car dealership parking lot, causing a fire that was eventually extinguished. The crash site had several electric vehicles parked at the time of the accident.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. Eyewitness Fernandes de Freitas, a tire repair worker, described the scene as terrifying, witnessing one helicopter engulfed in flames and a passenger jumping out of the other aircraft before it crashed.
Among the victims was Gaspar Prim Díaz, also known as Gaspi, a content creator with a significant following on YouTube. Blender, an Argentine streaming channel, paid tribute to Gaspi, highlighting his artistic contributions and expressing sorrow over his untimely death at the age of 23.
The Brazillian Air Force confirmed the incident and stated that investigators were deployed to the crash site for the initial assessment. The investigation will involve collecting data, preserving evidence, and examining the damage caused by the collision.
