Two individuals, a teenage boy, and a man were swiftly taken to the hospital with severe injuries following a shooting incident on a residential street in Solihull.
The event occurred on Vauxhall Crescent at approximately 2:30 am today, Monday, June 15. Authorities are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the culprit as no arrests have been made yet.
According to a local resident, there were audible sounds of “at least four gunshots” during the previous night.
A police forensic tent of blue color was erected at the scene while law enforcement officers meticulously searched for any potential evidence.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police stated, “We are conducting an investigation subsequent to gunfire in Vauxhall Crescent, Smith’s Wood, earlier today.”
“We received a distress call after a man and a teenage boy sustained gunshot wounds just before 2:40 am today (15 June).
“They were swiftly transported to the hospital with injuries deemed critical initially. Our investigative procedures are in their preliminary stages. Our officers will be conducting reassurance patrols in the vicinity.”

A spokeswoman from the ambulance service mentioned, “We were summoned to Vauxhall Crescent, Castle Bromwich at 2:35 am today.
“Two paramedic officers, two ambulances, a MERIT trauma team, HART paramedics, and a Critical Care car from The Air Ambulance Service promptly responded to the scene. Both individuals received critical trauma care for their injuries.
“They were swiftly transported to the hospital with lights and sirens for further specialized medical attention.”
