Father in Spain Kills Son’s Therapist Over Diaper Issue

Date:

A man allegedly killed his young son’s speech therapist by slashing his throat after discovering the child without a diaper during a session. The 24-year-old father reportedly turned himself in to authorities in Valencia, Spain, around 6:15 pm last Monday, where he was apprehended with blood on his hands.

According to reports, he confessed to assaulting the 32-year-old victim after leaving his two-year-old son momentarily to smoke a cigarette outside, only to return and find the child undressed. The suspect, identified locally as David G.S, began attacking the speech therapist when he refused to reveal security camera footage at his practice.

Subsequently, he fatally injured the therapist with a knife he had in his possession, resulting in the victim’s death at the facility on June 15. Witnesses heard the altercation prior to the stabbing, with the assailant threatening the therapist, “Show me the cameras or I’ll kill you.”

After the incident, the suspect drove to his residence on the outskirts of Valencia before surrendering to the police. Authorities discovered the victim at his clinic, and forensic experts cordoned off the area for investigation.

Following the victim’s identification, the body was transported to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Valencia for an autopsy. It remains uncertain if the suspect will face a judge today or tomorrow after spending a second night in custody. It is likely that he will be detained in a local prison pending trial, which is typically conducted privately in Spain.
