A man is in critical condition after falling from a Salford tower block during the early hours of the morning, leading to a police investigation.
The incident occurred at Adelphi Court in the Blackfriars area of Salford at approximately 1:10 am on Wednesday, June 17. Law enforcement responded to the scene on Cannon Street and found a man in his thirties suffering from severe injuries indicative of a fall from a height.
The injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition, according to reports from the Manchester Evening News.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed the arrest of a 33-year-old man on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class A drugs in connection with the incident.
Additionally, a 43-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of assault causing GBH and possession of an offensive weapon. Both individuals are currently detained as the police investigation into the circumstances of the event continues, as stated by the spokesperson.
