Police are in pursuit of a British man in connection with the alleged murder of a Colombian model whose body was discovered inside a suitcase. Natalia Villalba Angarita, 36, was found deceased in a rented apartment in Bogotá, Colombia. Cleaning staff found her remains concealed in a grey suitcase inside the bathroom, with the shower still running.
Natalia, a model from Cúcuta, had two passports found at the scene, with one expired and the other showing recent travel to Spain. Authorities are investigating the case as a potential deliberate homicide, with forensic experts analyzing fingerprint and trace evidence. A post-mortem examination is underway to determine the exact cause and time of death.
The rented apartment was occupied from June 3 to June 21, with a US citizen from Texas present initially and a British national entering the property on June 17 and leaving the next day. Surveillance footage captured the British man carrying bed linen to a laundry area. Investigators are reviewing the CCTV footage and building entry logs to track the movements of both foreign individuals as part of the ongoing inquiry.
Both the American and British suspects are currently evading authorities and are actively being sought. No arrests have been made yet as the investigation progresses. The Mirror has reached out to the Colombian National Police and the Foreign Office for comments.
