“Keir Starmer Bids Emotional Farewell in Final PMQs”

Keir Starmer received a standing ovation as he concluded his final Prime Minister’s Questions, marking the end of his political journey. Andy Burnham’s coronation as the new Labour leader was confirmed with overwhelming backing from party MPs, making his appointment virtually certain. Starmer is set to vacate No10 to make way for Burnham and is hopeful to witness England’s World Cup victory as his final act in office. During his final Cabinet meeting, David Lammy praised Starmer as a significant figure in the Labour movement, highlighting his dedication to national interests, work ethic, and resilience.

The Deputy PM lauded Starmer’s legacy for prioritizing the welfare of the nation and commended his relentless efforts in serving the public. Starmer’s tenure as PM was characterized by his commitment to the country’s well-being, tireless work ethic, and unwavering resolve, earning him recognition as a prominent figure in the Labour movement.
