Experienced equestrian Kerry Donoghue suffered a fatal accident during a cross-country event in Penrith, Cumbria. The 42-year-old from Glasgow was riding Carneyhaugh Rua at the Penrith Horse Trials when the tragic incident occurred. Despite emergency medical treatment at the scene, she could not be saved.
In an emotional online tribute, her husband Matthew Donoghue mourned the loss of his “amazing wife” Kerry due to the tragic horse riding accident. He expressed the family’s devastation, emphasizing that Kerry will always be remembered and cherished.
