Tragic Deaths at Fistral Beach Spark Water Safety Calls

Two individuals, a man, and a woman were tragically found deceased at Fistral Beach in Cornwall. Emergency response teams including the police, coastguard, and ambulance services have been actively involved in the operation since the previous night. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) deployed two lifeboats at approximately 9.30 pm, as reported by CornwallLive.

Eyewitnesses observed a significant presence of emergency vehicles at the beach, with a rescue helicopter also assisting in the operation. Cornwall Police have notified the families of the deceased individuals.

HM Coastguard Padstow released a statement regarding the incident, expressing condolences and mentioning their involvement in collaboration with other agencies such as Newquay coastguard search & rescue team.
