A tragic incident occurred in Warwickshire resulting in the death of a young girl following a collision between a car and a tractor. Emergency services responded to the crash involving a VW Tiguan and a tractor on Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell around 5pm on Friday. The six-year-old sustained severe injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene for head injuries before succumbing to them the next day.
The accident happened on Fosse Way, specifically between Compton Verney and the Five Ways roundabout near Banbury Road. Fortunately, no other individuals involved in the incident suffered injuries. Warwickshire Police confirmed that the girl’s family is receiving support from trained officers.
Authorities have initiated an investigation and are requesting anyone with dashcam footage or who was traveling on B4455 during the time of the crash to come forward. Warwickshire Police spokesperson stated, “Regrettably, a child has passed away following a collision on Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell. We urge witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to assist in our inquiries by reporting incident number 331 of July 31.”
