Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre in recognition of his Hall of Fame induction, marking a special moment for the Montreal Canadiens goaltender who has dedicated his entire NHL career to the city. The celebration is scheduled for November 10, following his official induction into the Hall of Fame the day before.
As the 62nd member of the organization to receive this prestigious honor, Price will join the elite group represented in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a tribute reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the world of hockey. Throughout his impressive 15-year tenure with the Canadiens, Price has solidified his legacy, holding the team record for most games played and victories as a goaltender, with a notable 251 goals-against average and a remarkable .917 save percentage across 712 games.
The upcoming tribute will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild, where Price will be recognized for his exceptional career achievements. A seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft, Price’s contributions to the Canadiens have been nothing short of remarkable.
Fans can anticipate the commencement of the Canadiens’ pre-season on September 19, with the team’s regular season opener slated for September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
