“Amazon Urn Purchase Reveals Unexpected Human Remains”

Date:

A family in mourning was shocked when the urn they purchased on Amazon to hold their grandmother’s ashes contained an unexpected surprise, marking their second unsettling encounter with human remains.

Dorothy Kupsis, the family matriarch, passed away at the age of 98 on May 27, leaving her loved ones devastated and searching for a proper resting place for her ashes. Believing they had found the perfect urn for Dorothy, they ordered it from Amazon.

The heart-shaped urn was intended to honor the beloved grandmother, appearing pristine and giving no indication of any hidden contents. However, upon opening it, Ashleigh Wegner discovered that it still contained human remains, leading to feelings of shock, disgust, and discomfort.

Despite the urn’s new appearance, the presence of the ashes tainted the family’s perception of it as a suitable vessel for the Arizona grandmother. Ashleigh reached out to Amazon and received a refund, but her attempts to contact the third-party seller went unanswered.

Interestingly, this was not Ashleigh’s first encounter with human remains. She recalled a previous incident where she and her husband found abandoned ashes in an alley near their home, which they later turned over to the authorities.

Concerned about the urn potentially being resold with remains inside, Ashleigh insisted on preventing such mishaps and ensuring proper handling of human remains during sensitive moments like these. The Mirror has sought comments from Amazon regarding the situation.
